Unique Features of Our School

Art

Our school values artistic expression in various forms. We organize plays in English, offer lessons in multiple musical instruments, and provide calligraphy classes. We also host art exhibitions where students can showcase their drawings, thereby boosting their self-confidence. Through this diverse range of artistic activities, each child can thrive and fully express their creativity.

Theme and school trip

Each year, we select a theme related to current events that guides several educational projects and a school trip.

In 2024, the chosen theme was the Olympic Games. We organized a trip to Greece, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games, allowing students to discover Greek history and culture. They visited iconic sites such as the Olympic Stadium in Athens and participated in workshops and sports activities inspired by Olympic disciplines.

Unique

Each year offers a unique experience, as each class and each child brings their own particularities and uniqueness.

For this reason, we personalize our cultural outings based on the interests and desires of the children. They are actively involved in the organization process.

They take the initiative to contact museums, calculate metro transportation costs, and participate in many other essential tasks to make these outings happen. This participatory approach helps develop valuable organizational skills and autonomy in the children.

Respectful pedagogy

A child must feel safe, both materially and emotionally, to learn effectively. Our respectful pedagogy is based on communication, listening, and empathy.

We practice non-violent communication and active listening, observing and understanding the needs of each child. The caring educator finds a balance between control and autonomy, offering an environment conducive to experimentation and independence.

This involves trusting the child while providing clear guidelines.

Our team is trained in emotional management according to the Faber and Mazlish method, active listening according to Thomas Gordon, and the grammar of emotions by Isabelle Filliozat.”
